Your Profile

The Profile page lets you view and update your personal information and household details.


Accessing Your Profile

Click on Profile in the navigation menu.


Page Layout

The Profile page shows several cards with different types of information. Click Edit Profile to make changes, then Save Changes when done.

This section shows all members of your household:

  • Heads of Household - Primary household contacts

  • Household Members - Other family members

Adding Members

  1. Click Edit Profile

  2. Click Add Member

  3. Fill in their information

  4. Click Save Changes


If You Don't Have a Household

If you haven't completed the household setup yet, you'll see a message:

"Household Setup Required - To apply for shelter and access household-related features, you need to set up your household information first."

Click Create Household to start the 3-step setup process.


Saving Changes

  1. Click Edit Profile to enter edit mode

  2. Make your changes

  3. Click Save Changes

  4. You'll see a confirmation message when saved


Your Shelter Status

If you are currently staying at a shelter, a Shelter Status Card will appear at the top of your profile showing:

  • Shelter Name - Where you're currently registered

  • Check-in Date - When you were registered at the shelter

  • Address and Phone - Contact information for the shelter

Reporting Incorrect Status

If the system shows you're staying at a shelter but you're not (or you've already left), you can report this:

  1. Click the "I'm not staying here" button on the shelter status card

  2. Optionally enter the date you left the shelter

  3. Explain why the status is incorrect (e.g., "I checked out last week")

  4. Click Submit Report

The shelter staff will be notified by email and will review your registration. They will update your status if needed.


Important Notes

  • Keep information current - Accurate information helps shelters contact you and match you with appropriate resources

  • Phone and email - Make sure these are correct so shelters can reach you

  • Household size - If your household size changes (someone joins or leaves), update it here
